If you’ve followed along with us here at Senior Placement Solutions, you know we’ve spent the last year building out ways to bring real, honest information to families across DuPage County and the western suburbs — through our blog, our videos, and every conversation we have with families navigating senior care for the first time.
Now we’re adding something new to that lineup, and we’re genuinely excited about it: SPS is launching a podcast.
This week’s video is actually the first look behind the curtain of what’s coming, so if you haven’t caught it yet, that’s where we start pulling back the veil on what this show is going to be.
Why We’re Doing This
Here’s the truth about senior care in the Chicagoland suburbs: it’s a fragmented world. Families are often trying to make life-altering decisions — where mom should live, whether dad needs memory care, how to pay for it all — while piecing together information from a dozen different sources that don’t talk to each other. A concierge doctor knows things a social worker doesn’t. A community’s sales director knows things a discharge planner doesn’t. And most families never get access to any of them directly.
We wanted to build a show that closes that gap.
What the Podcast Will Actually Be
This isn’t going to be a show that just talks at families. It’s built around long-form, real conversations with the professionals who make up the entire senior care continuum — the people we work alongside every single day here at SPS.

What’s Next
We’re still finalizing the name (yes, we know — the anticipation is real), the first guest lineup, and our filming location here in the western suburbs. But the plan is already in motion, and one of our biggest goals for this show is simple: let it grow as far as it possibly can, while never losing sight of the community roots it came from. Every episode will always trace back to DuPage County families and the professionals who serve them.
